On this episode we have one thing on our minds. The Walking Dead. #41

We’re back with episode 41 and it’s time to talk some magic. This week’s film is Biw Tiy See Ne frin 2012. Is the movie a trick to be remembered? Or will it fade away into the wind…

Evil Episodes 53: Sacramento gets Scary and Trash!

Welcome back to Evil Episodes.
This episode breaks format once again as there will not be a review of a tv show or movie. Instead, Mike is releasing an episode featuring two events local to his area in Sacramento, CA that are sure to horrify!  First up is footage of his third annual trip to the Cemetarium haunt (now located in Citrus Heights, CA). Mike, along with Robert Coker & Joe get a walk through of the new location and haunted house with owners/designers/builders Frankie & Troy.  They detail what is new, how the new location happened and what to expect in the future.  Then we mic up Robert Coker for his walk through.
Then we get ready for a killer time with the crew from the Trash Film Orgy, a local film event in the area that features horror/sci-fi/exploitation movies on the big screen reminiscent of your favorite midnight movie shows, only this is so much more….!  Doug from season pass podcast joins Mike as they talk with Christy Savage, Darin Wood, Lauren Weber and others involved in this annual film event. And get us and everyone primed for the screening of Silent Night Deadly Night this Saturday at 9pm (Doors at 8pm). This is an event you won’t want to miss…..
The podcast will return to it’s more regular format with Episode 54 which will feature a huge discussion on The Walking Dead’s mid-season finale and thoughts overall on season 4′s first half!
Until then…..stay evil (and warm)!

Moviecopia Episode 40: Moviecopia 1st Year Spectacular

Moviecopia 1 Year Anniversary

This is a very special episode of MovieCopia. We’ve reached our one year anniversary! I want to first thank all of the listeners for joining me on this crazy ride. You have been so supportive and kind over the past year. You guys and girls are the best group I could ask for. Thank you for everything.

I wanted to make this episode special. I didn’t want it to just be your average MovieCopia episode. This is the one year show! It had to be epic! Naturally, we needed to have an epic guest. Who better than the lady who was my original partner in crime at the start? We’ve come full circle as Iris returns to the show and we discuss… Gary Daniels! The asskicking Englishman makes his second appearance as we cover the film Hawk’s Vengeance. Does it live up to the high bar set by Fist Of The North Star, our first ever reviewed film?

We also have our first ever interview on MovieCopia. I am joined by Ron Newcomb to
discuss his soon to be released Lord Of The Rings inspired comedy, Rise Of The Fellowship. I’m very greatful to Ron for taking the time to give us the low-down on this project. Check it out when it’s available everyone.

Warning! The end of the show may be a bit sappy as everyone who has ever guested on the show is thanked. Get your tissues ready. Hahaha. We close out the show with a very kind Birthday wish from the fine folks over at Badasses Boobs and Bodycounts. Iris may in fact leave herself a message.
I look forward to bringing you another great year of the show. Strap in, it’s going to be a fun ride!

Not So Evil Sidecast #8: Written, not directed by: Tarantino

Not So Evil.....

Greetings everyone,

On this latest edition of the sidecast the movie selection rotated back to Mike, and how did he choose to proceed? By doing the laziest thing possible, ripping off the previous month's gimmick chosen by Jeff Martin. Yes, it's another "Written, but not directed by" episode, this time featuring two Tarantino scripts.  True Romance, directed by Tony Scott, and Natural Born Killers butchered....errr...directed by Oliver Stone ;)

Two early scripts by Tarantino that helped get his career under way. Which one of us finds True Romance "so cool?" Who wants to give Natural Born Killers a natural born enema? Find out the answer to these questions and so much more on the latest edition of the "Not So Evil" sidecast!

Cinema Beef 19: Leather, Revenge and Dudes Who Wear Makeup!

Cinema Beef is back and we are tackling all kinds of genres tonight. On this engorged episode, I am joined by comic writer and creator of the Lil' Levi web comic, Sean Kelley.

Finally, we go the strip to find some random skanks and some good tunes when we talk about all things mid to late 80s metal in Penelope Spherris' doc The Decline of Western Civilization Part 2 : The Metal Years! Gill and Roscoes Bodacious Horror Podcast Episode 48: Adventures in Time & Space (A Bodacious Tribute to Doctor Who)

Grandad and Sandshoes

This week’s very special episode of the Bodacious Horror Podcast sees your clueless comperes catapulted into chronological chaos, as Gill’s Nicholas Lyndhurst-inspired meddlings with the fabric of space and time kickstart a chain of events which unwittingly spark World War 3.

Faster than you can say “jump the shark”, they hatch a plot so convoluted that even JJ Abrams says it isn’t a sustainable premise for a series. In an effort to repair the damage to the timeline caused by their foolish actions, Gill & Roscoe present a special episode dedicated to the most celebrated time traveller of them all, The Doctor!

Along the way, your erudite emissaries discuss “The Three Doctors” (1972), “The Five Doctors” (1983), “Remembrance of the Daleks” (1988), “Dimensions in Time” (1993), “Doctor Who: The Movie” (1996), “The Curse of Fatal Death” (1999), “Time Crash” (2007), “Night of the Doctor” (2013) and “Day of the Doctor” (2013).

Nobody puts The Doctor in the corner.

The Midnight Horror Show 17: Djarko Unchained

Episode 17

In this debacle of an episode, Dr. Dark attempts online radio suicide when he allows his darker side, "Dark Colonel Sanders", to rear his ugly head in a response to a listener email.

We attempt to wrap up the John Carpenter celebration and also teach a very special listener a lesson: Mark only takes a finger..not a fist. Prepare yourselves minions...

Gill and Roscoes Bodacious Horror Podcast #52: Xtroridnary

Episode 52

On this week’s most Bodacious of Horror Podcasts, your world weary hosts are homeward bound, with Roscoe returning to the UK after a spell in the colonies, and Gill returning to Knightswood after a morning in Kinning Park.

In recognition of this admittedly sketchy provocation for patriotism, our focus turns to this sceptred isle, with 3 science fiction shockers sprung from the fertile pastures of this green and pleasant land. First up we have the UK and Ireland’s own Godzilla clone “Gorgo” (1961), followed swiftly by England’s answer to Alien Resurrection, “Xtro” (1983), and closing out with the alcohol-themed horror comedy “Grabbers” (2013). Along the way we also talk about cleaning products, pancakes and Jack the Ripper.

We look forward to hearing more from you.

The Morbidly Made #22: Morbid Commentary- ReAnimator

We tried a little something different with this episode. When our original episode plans fell through, we decided it might be interesting to record a commentary for a flick. So we threw out suggestions on our group's Facebook page as to what it should be. We took the first suggestion we received so here it is--our first ever MORBID Commentary for 1985s H.P. Lovecraft's RE-ANIMATOR! Sync it with the Netflix stream, or with your DVD or Blu-ray copy. If you don't have any of those, check out our Facebook group page for a link to an EXCLUSIVE video download of the show available for a limited time. Starting November 29 and continuing through Sunday, December 8th. We'll be back next week with an ALL NEW episode!

Stay tuned to our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/themorbidlymade for information on upcoming shows and how YOU can get involved!

If you have a question, comment, topic, Contagious Movie Of The Week or guest suggestion, please email us at: TheMorbidlyMade@thedevilseyes.com or themorbidlymade@gmail.com or call the show at: 215-240-7839.

Show Breakdown:
--Open (01:20-07:25)
--MORBID Commentary: RE-ANIMATOR (07:55-End)

Thanks for listening!

Thanks again for everything, Happy Thanksgiving!

Evil Episodes #52: Thanksgrabbing

Episode 52

Your Horror TV Fix is back!

Welcome to the not really Thanksgiving special. Truth be told, this episode has nothing to do with Thanksgiving. We decided on the quicker turn around time due to the holiday weekend coming up and thought it would be better to not have a 3 week gap between episodes. With that, there is less catching up to do than normal with our weekly horror shows, so we get that out of the way pretty quick and dive into some news items including:

  • Romero dissed The Walking Dead (again)
  • Christina Ricci as Lizzy Borden?
  • Lifeforce....the TV Series?
